*School of Business Fees:
along with normal tuition
and fees, on-campus graduate students in the Business School pay
an additional amount for each semester they register. This super-tuition rate is $150 per semester if a student takes six or fewer
credits and $250 per term if they take seven or more credits.

**Supplemental Course Fees:
Students taking evening
or weekend courses also pay a Distance Learning Fee of $131 per
credit. Fulltime students average approximately $400-$700 in
weekend course fees per semester. These fees are
usually not applied during the summer session. Please

Cost of Living
The following rates apply to the
2008-2009 academic year. Campus dormitory and meal package
costs vary from $2,930 -$3,730 per semester. University apartment
and housing complexes are also available with variable rates
depending on particular complex. Studios to four-bedroom units
in University Villages rent for $470 to $745 per month;
restrictions to families may apply to some units. Apartments in
Lewis & Clark Villages are $384 per month per person. Summer
school housing is also available. Check the Residence Life web

locations, and the most current rates.
Other privately owned rental apartments and houses are available
in the city of Missoula. Typically a one-bedroom apartment will
cost between $500 to $700, including most utilities. Sharing a
house with others often costs about $300 to $450 per person,
including most utilities.

Scholarships
Scholarships and award amounts
vary from year to year. For the 2009-2010 academic year, 18
scholarships were awarded, ranging from $1,000 to $8,500 each.

Occasionally other honors and scholarships
are awarded. Keep a current résumé in your graduate
file in the School of Business Administration, and you may qualify
for these awards.
If you intend to apply for
one of these awards and have not submitted application for the
professional program, we recommend that you take the GMAT by mid-January
and submit your application by February 1.

Assistantships
Graduate assistantship awards are available each semester to
both MBA and MAcct applicants and students.
Nine to ten awards are given each year.
Benefits:

Qualifications:

Admitted or applying to either the MBA or MAcct program
●
Outstanding academic record
●
Relevant experience based on the business school’s needs
Native American Graduate Assistantship

One of the assistantships is specifically earmarked and
funded for a Native American student
▪
Additional qualification: must be an enrolled member of a
Native American tribe
Technology Graduate Assistantship
▪
One assistantship is funded* to work with technology in the
Gallagher Business Building
*tuition remission is limited to an amount equal to
residency tuition; however the position is open to both
residents and non-residents
▪
Additional qualification: must have technology experience
▪
Position may include Computer Lab Manager or Course
Management Technician
Requirements:

Work approximately 15 hours per week for faculty members
●
Maintain a minimum of 9 credits per semester and good academic
standing
