Tuition
and fees for 2007-08, are estimated at:
- $3,175 for Montana residents
and
- $8,650 for nonresidents
for 12-18 credits per semester.

The most current information about tuition and fees is available

Business Services website. Additional information can be
found on the UM Graduate School website at
Tuition and Fees. Along with normal tuition
and fees, on-campus graduate students in the Business School pay
an additional amount for each semester they register. This super
tuition rate is $150 per semester if a student takes six or fewer
credits and $250 per semester if they take seven or more credits.
This is included in the figures above.
Class Fees: Off-campus students taking evening
courses also pay a Distance Learning Fee of $131 per credit.
Weekend courses, taken by either on-campus or off-campus
students also have a fee of $131 per credit. These fees are
usually not applied during the summer session.

Cost of Living
Campus dormitory and meal package
costs vary from $2,220 -$3,300 per semester. Families may apply
to live in one of the University's apartments. These apartments,
ranging from studio to four-bedroom, rent for $398 to $632 per
month.
Other privately owned rental
apartments and houses are available in the city of Missoula. Typically
a one-bedroom apartment will cost between $450 to $700, including
most utilities. Sharing a house with others often costs about
$300 to $450 per person, including most utilities.

Scholarships
Scholarships and award amounts
vary from year to year. For the 2006-2007 academic year, nine
scholarships were awarded, ranging from $1,000 to $7,000 each.

Occasionally other honors and scholarships
are awarded. Keep a current résumé in your graduate
file in the School of Business Administration, and you may qualify
for these awards.
If you intend to apply for
one of these awards and have not submitted application for the
professional program, we recommend that you take the GMAT by mid-January
and submit your application by February 1.

Assistantships
Assistantship awards are available
each semester for MBA applicants and students. They include remission
of most registration, incidental, and out-of-state fees, and a
stipend of at least $4,500 per semester. Assistants work approximately
15 hours per week for three to four faculty members. Four to six
awards are given each year.
Qualifications:
> admitted or applying to the MBA
> outstanding academic record
> relevant experience based on School needs
> in addition to above, one assistantship is restricted to an enrolled member of a Native
American tribe
