The continuous quality improvement
philosophy behind the AACSB accreditation process is extremely
valuable and is taken very seriously in our business school. It
ensures quality in faculty, students, curriculum and auxiliary
programs, as it critically examines the “value-added”
to students who attend our school. Nowhere is this more apparent
than in our graduate programs.
Our MAcct program is one of few
in the entire Pacific Northwest with separate accounting accreditation.
This program has distinguished itself on more than one occasion
when achieving extremely high first-time pass rates on the CPA
exam (ranking number one in 2000). Our MBA program stands apart
from others first by using the Internet to deliver the pre-professional
portion (i.e., first year) of the curriculum. In addition, our
professional MBA courses now are scheduled around an innovative
“trimester” model with traditional daytime classes
augmented by occasional weekend seminars.
Finally, thanks to our partnership
with corporate giants such as Microsoft and Hewlett Packard, we
continue to be at the leading edge of development concerning delivery
of our Off-Campus Program through a mixture of technology and
multi-media devices.
